Community Service and Pranic Energy Healing.

Ten years ago, when I first opened; Into the Light Energy Healing & Spiritual Counseling Center, in Meridian Idaho, I may have been the only Pranic Energy Healing Practitioner in the County. At that time, most people had never heard the word “PRANA” let alone what a Pranic Energy Healer does. However, many people had heard the word reiki before and even knew someone who provided reiki services.

I felt this was a very good thing because at least people were aware of Energy Healing.

I introduced myself to a few reiki practitioners and asked if they ever got together as a group and offered free 15 minute sessions to help build an energy healing community. They informed me that a few of them met once a month and they were offering free mini sessions to people who signed up.

This was very promising and I asked if I could join them. I stated that I was a Pranic Energy Healer and that I would love to meet with them and offer my services to the community. They were very gracious and said I could join them anytime. I was met with kindness and friendship and I will always be grateful for their support, openness, and hospitality.

Then I discovered Hedranews! This was a publication that ran once a month and published articles and stories and advertisements from local communities who were involved in the healing arts. This Newspaper provided much needed coverage and information for anyone who was looking for anything from a yoga class, a massage, a drumming class, a book club, a reiki healer, or a Pranic energy practitioner. Hedranews was a lifeline to a hungry community. I ended up not only advertising in this paper, but wrote monthly articles about my healing center and the services I offered. I was a steady contributor for over six years. I remember calling the publisher to inform her that after putting one article in Hedranews clients were starting to find me and Book sessions with me.

Becoming involved with community members and local business owners, I was able to grow roots here in Meridian Idaho and sprout from a sapling into a thriving sturdy tree with many branches.

Along the way, I participated in grassroots efforts and events to support and promote equality within communities and made friends along the way. Staying involved is the key to growth and success especially when you are a single business owner. And when one small business succeeds, we all succeed. Thanks for your help everyone!

I never posted any of these awards or accomplishments on my website, but I have decided to put them at the bottom of this blog.
